Please give me a call or request a quote and I'll contact you so we can go over your samples and workflow. I'll then count how many visible fields and columns you'll need for your database. Once we have an idea on the count then I'll be able to give you a price quote.
Visible Fields are the fields and columns you will be paying for in your database. A count of these determines your 'Fee per Visible Field'. Your quote will include a count of these fields. During the Design Phase you may choose to add or remove fields from your design. Your project costs will go up or go down depending on how many fields you add or remove during the design phase. You're in control of how many fields there are and where they are placed.
AutoNumber Fields automatically increments to be used as key ID fields.
Text Fields can contain letters and numbers and are the most common field used.
Number Fields can only contain numbers, including currency.
Date Fields only contain valid calendar dates.
Hyperlink Fields contain a hyperlink that can launch a web page or computer file.
Basic Calculated Totals are simple formulas that calculate totals and other values. (Highly complex formulas cost extra depending on complexity)
Basic Combo Boxes are sometimes known as dropdowns that preserve the integrity of your data entry.
Basic list boxes allow you to scroll and choose one option from the list. (Multi-select list boxes are extra depending on complexity)
Option Groups store a single selection but gives multiple choices.
Check Boxes represent 'yes' if checked and 'no' if not.
Option Buttons represent 'yes' if selected and 'no' if not.
Headings and Titles that show data from the database. Static headings and titles are no charge.
Visible Columns are fields shown in a vertical format on your screens (forms) or on reports.
Flat Fee Quotes—not estimates! I'll give you flat fee price quotes on databases, not hourly estimates of how long it could take. The price I quote you includes design, production, installation, training and testing!
More work in less time. Most of my clients earn more using their database than they did before they had it. Just consider how much time you'll save and how much more you can earn after having an automated system. Consider the amount you spend on a solution to be an investment and not an expense. This means your database is designed to pay for itself in a relatively short period of time.
I'll do work for you at no charge in exchange for sending me business. Once I've developed a solution for you, I'm confident you'll tell other businesses about it! When I create a solution for them, I'll then give you services equal to 10% of the value of their project. For example: If they pay $5,000 I'll give you $500 worth of services. You can use this to add additional forms, reports or Add-ons functions to one of your existing databases.
The sooner your payment arrives the sooner your project is scheduled, upgraded or delivered.
